Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
Look Out For Shark-Infested Mountains! The 100,000-plus square foot marine attraction is home to thousands of fish and other types of aquatic life from around the world. More than 1.3 million gallons of water (mostly man-made sea water) accommodate the various exhibits and displays located throughout the facility.

Ripley's Believe it or Not
Robert Ripley's life was an unbelievable adventure. For thirty-five years he explored the uncanny and witnessed the amazing. He was a world traveler who visited over 200 countries, seeing places few people had even heard of, from the tombs of the Ming Emperors in China, to a town called Hell in Norway!

Ripley's Haunted Adventure
The original Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company was constructed in 1891. It was built over a cave that the locals called The Sinks. The locals never went there, and it was said that anyone who ventured in to The Sinks either went mad, or were never seen again. The company operated 24 hours a day, but it was at night that it was most active. It was said that unnatural things went on in the place, and it was often blamed for the unusual number of people who disappeared from the town. In 1926, after the strange disappearance of both Grimsby and Streaper, the company ceased operations. The building was boarded up and fenced in. Over the years, new shops and stores were built in front of it and it was mostly forgotten. In 1991, Ripley's acquired the property and demolished the buildings that had been built in front of it. Until further notice, Ripley's will be conducting tours of the old factory, pending a decision on how to further develop this valuable location.

Over 60 performers have astounded audience's around the world. The Legends of China is now presented for the first time ever in the Smokies. This state of the art theatrical event features the World Renowned Thunder Drums Ensemble! The theatre also features Hui Guang, a Broadway style Shaolin Kung Fu show, a musical about the tale of a mother and son separated by a war-torn country. A Shaolin master adopts the boy and trains him to become a Kung Fu master.

Smoky Mountain Trains
Smoky Mountain Trains is more than an ordinary museum. With its collection of 7,000 Lionel(TM) engines, cars and accessories, impressive operating layout, children's activity center, and gift/toy shop, Smoky Mountain Trains has something for everyone. A tour through Star Cars Museum is a trip through some of the most famous movies and TV shows of the last 50 years. The Tennessee Museum of Aviation
The Tennessee Museum of Aviation occupies a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility located right beside the airport's 5,500 ft. runway. This unique location makes bringing aviation history to life possible as airworthy vintage aircraft perform impromptu flybys for visitors. Tube Junction
Tube Junction is the oldest of the river tubing outfitters in Tube City - Townsend, TN, a second-generation outfit which started out more than twenty years ago with the classic black truck inner tubes. Also have modern multi-colored "ski" tubes.
Tuckaleechee Caverns
Carved over tens of thousands of years in one of the earth's oldest mountain chains, Tuckaleechee Caverns at Townsend are known as the "Greatest Site Under the Smokies." Estimated to be between 20 and 30 million years old, the Caverns are rich in history and lore in recent years as well.
